Hi, I’m Jess
My journey to creating EAT LIKE THE ELITE began more than 25 years ago when I was the typical high-performing, active adolescent – doing all the sport, winning national gold medals, but having no idea how to fuel my nutritional demands in sport, school and life. This resulted in many injuries, being very fatigued, and reaching a plateau in my performance and growth. At this point, I saw a Sports Dietitian who not only taught me how to fuel my performance for sport, school and life but was the catalyst for the work I do today.
Professionally, I have spent the last decade working with incredible competitors, including Olympians and thousands of athletes from nearly every professional sporting code in the country. I built many amazing relationships and had some of the most incredible experiences – like being part of an NRL club's first premiership win, helping many other athletes and sports teams make maiden grand finals, and being on the sideline in the process. But I sacrificed a lot of my own life in the process and burnt myself out more than once, which brings me to where I am today.

While I am beyond thankful for my time in professional sport and also a little unsure how I managed to cram a career's worth of work into a decade, I have found myself wanting to slow down and enjoy my own life more (not just my work life), but at the same time reach and help more people with my unique skills and knowledge - enter EAT LIKE THE ELITE.
I know I am the best-qualified person – personally and professionally – to help you elevate your wellbeing and performance in sport and life. ABOUT LAUREN
Hi, I’m Lauren,
I’m a student dietitian in my third year of Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Sydney. I LOVE what I do and am stoked to share what we do with all of you.
My passion for EAT LIKE THE ELITE starts with my adolescent years.
Ages 11 to 17 were packed with year-round competition and training for netball, athletics and swimming (plus all the school sports I signed up for ‘just for fun’). In addition, I was (and still am) a total goodie two shoes. In school, striving for the best academic marks and being involved in every extra-curricular activity under the sun. Like you, I was and am a high-performing individual.
Whilst I wouldn’t change how I grew up for the world, if I could go back and tell little Lauren one thing, it would be "if you want to take on the world like an elite, you need to eat like an elite”. I think that would have saved my parents from many tantrums, tears and early morning visits to the Physio - sorry Mum & Dad!

I speak from firsthand experience when I say, this is the program every active adolescent, athlete and high performing human needs and I cannot wait to connect with you all in your journey to eating like an elite.
